Services
Free Injury Clinics
Athletes will receive a free evaluation
and x-ray if needed at no charge. The injury must be acute and
received during a school activity. All evaluations need to
be referred by the staff at the injured athlete's school. Please contact the athletic
trainer at your school or head coach if you do not have an athletic
trainer to make the referral. Athletes will receive a written
report to take back to their athletic trainer or coach.
Educational Workshops
The foundation will provide four free
educational workshops in the spring. Dates, times, and locations
will be announced shortly. Continuing education units will be
provided to athletic trainers at no charge for attending.
Grants
The foundation has a limited number of
grants to help athletes who are uninsured or underinsured obtain
advanced medical procedures. Athletes and their parents need to fill
out the applications on the website and submit it to the board for
consideration.
